Ministries
Throughout the week, we encourage our members to get involved in the various projects and activities that are happening. As well as our Sunday service, we have ministries that cater to different groups.
Children’s ministry
Our children’s classes on Sunday are a great place for your little ones to learn the Bible, whilst having fun. We believe that when we teach our children the Word of God, they will not depart from it, so we work to build a solid foundation for them as they grow.
IT4:12
IT4:12 is our group of energetic, enthusiastic teenagers. We are all called to be an example to others through our lifestyle, so whether it’s through conversation or actions, we help equip them with the tools they need to confidently share their faith.
Prison ministry
We believe that God’s love can reach anybody, no matter where they are. This is why a group made up of church members heads out to The Mount Prison once a month in order to hold a service and support the men and women who are serving time.
Listening service
Whether you’re concerned about something, or simply need somebody to hear you out, our experienced listening team is here to offer you a safe, non-judgemental space to talk. If you or somebody you know could benefit from this, get in touch.
Groups to connect with
We have something for everyone here at Freedom’s Ark. We believe that iron sharpens iron (Proverbs 27:17) so we have a variety of groups that you can join to build your faith and make connections with like-minded people.
Men’s fellowship
Our men meet up every first Saturday of the month for breakfast and fellowship. They discuss things that concern being a man of God today and organise events for the church, such as; picnics and trips.
Home fellowship
Our home fellowships are an exciting way to learn the Word of God and engage with new and familiar faces. We aim to build strong connections, and we operate via postcode to make sure that nobody gets left out.
The Forge
The Forge is our group for millennials, with the purpose of sharpening the minds of one another, offer support, and also grow stronger in the faith. The aim is to create a community where everybody is fulfilling their calling, wherever they find themselves in life.
