Success means a lot of things to different individuals, peoples and communities. This difference determines the bases with which we rate it.
I say success is to never give up. Success is hard work – no shortcuts.
It’s the courage to fail and start again. It’s not an end, but the ‘dash’ from the beginning through to the end of any endeavour until we achieve…
It’s touching a soul, connecting to another and letting them know – I see you; you’re not invisible and you truly matter.
Success is the courage to confidently go against the flow. To speak what others see and dare not say or have lost the ability to see, as such, blinded by norm accept. To be unshielded on a blank canvas or empty pages for all to see.
After you have done all you know to do; stand and believe. In the past, I mistook intelligence for wisdom. Intelligence without wisdom is folly, but, wisdom with intelligence births pure excellence.
Now that is a success.
“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” – Proverbs 4:7
